Actively guided and contributed for the growth of M/s.Sundaram Medical Foundation, as a community care hospital of excellence and providing affordable medical care to all sections of public from three locations in and around chennai. Also instrumental in establishment and growth of a CBSC affiliated school “Vidya Peetam” at Sholinghur with more than 1200 students most of them from the surrounding rural areas and a community hospital at the same location called “Sundaram Health Centre”. Both are run by M/s.Sholinghur Development Trust of which he is a trustee. Similarly, making significant contribution as chairman of the board of trustees of NTTF, premier institution conducting and certifying technical skills like tool and die making to students through courses recognized by Government of India.

Though a homemaker, Mrs. Prema Ramanujam has been the driving force behind most of the activities of Ankur Trust right from its inception. Her vision, dedication, and hands-on involvement have been instrumental in shaping the trust's mission and ensuring its successful implementation.
